In his February 2005 WIRED article titled Revenge of the Right Brain, author Daniel H. Pink hails the dawning of "the Conceptual Age - ruled by artistry, empathy, and emotion." Pink theorizes that this stage, which follows the Information Age, requires special skills to recognize opportunities, to invent, and to create.
