Fifty-hour work weeks are routine for most professionals - and that doesn't count time on email or the phone while at home. If you realize you haven't seen your spouse or kids for a while, you might want to pursue a career that will give you your life back.

Careers with flexible hours are hard to find, but they're out there. Fortune 100 companies are realizing that flexible hours are highly desirable to employees. Whether it's book keeping or web design, it might take a new degree or at least a few courses, but the education will be worth it. Take a look at the 5 best careers with flexible hours:

• Accounting
  Accountants and accounting clerks are needed everywhere, and sometimes sporadically. Parents will find a part-time accounting job a great benefit to their schedule, and you can earn an associate's degree in finance or accounting in two years or a bachelor's degree in four.
• Web Design
  Software training programs for web design are some of the most convenient to complete; everything can be done online. Many web design jobs are on a contract basis and pay competitive hourly rates.
• E-Commerce
  Buying and selling goods online has caught on in a big way. Leave websites running at home while you run errands. It's another great degree or diploma program to complete online, too.
